Compared with the hydrogen energy industry, China's photovoltaic industry has a global advantage in the entire industry chain, and photovoltaic hydrogen production can achieve non carbonization at the source of production. At the same time, hydrogen, as an energy storage medium, has a higher energy density than lithium batteries, making it suitable as a long-term energy storage method to solve problems such as daytime imbalance and quarterly imbalance encountered in photovoltaic power generation. Bian Tiezheng, Deputy General Manager of Tianhe Yuan Hydrogen, introduced that the first electrolytic cell of Tianqing Alkaline Electrolytic Water Hydrogen Production System has a single cell hydrogen production capacity of 1000Nm ³/ h. In order to reduce system costs, the energy consumption of the Tianqing electrolytic cell meets the first level energy efficiency standard of the national standard, with leading performance. The single cell hydrogen production of the same series of products that have not yet been released can reach up to 2000Nm ³/ H. Compared with traditional equipment of the same level, the current density of the electrolytic cell is increased by 50%~75%, and the DC power consumption is reduced by 10%~15% compared to traditional electrolytic cells. It has the characteristics of high density and low energy consumption, and can achieve multi-dimensional energy integration, which is more in line with the development needs of green electricity.

Adapting to renewable energy has become an important component of the overall solution for photovoltaic hydrogen production. The Tianqing electrolytic cell has a hydrogen production capacity of 25% -120% wide power fluctuations, combined with unique control technology, to better adapt to renewable energy electricity. At the same time, the Tianqing system adopts modular design, a framework product structure, and standard module integration to adapt to large-scale solutions; The alkali tank frame is designed with a multi to one design, further reducing the unit system cost of hydrogen production.
