Today, the 17th (2024) International Solar Photovoltaic and Smart Energy (Shanghai) Conference of SNEC has come to an end, and Tianhe Hydrogen Alkaline Electrolytic Water Hydrogen Production Equipment and Integrated Photohydrogen Storage Solutions have attracted high market attention.

Stable operation of equipment is the primary task for industry development

It is precisely based on the consideration of high product quality and stability that Tianhe Yuan Hydrogen Heavy Industry is building a globally leading intelligent, digital, and systematic production base in Yangzhou. At present, all the factories have been completed and equipment entry and commissioning are underway. It is expected to be put into operation within this year. The base adopts domestically leading AGV fully automated production lines, including frame refining, automated laser welding, and electroplating production lines. It is equipped with advanced AI video monitoring systems, industrial control networks, and intelligent logistics systems, and has built its own electroplating production line. At the same time, a 20MW factory testing platform is also equipped to ensure that each equipment can undergo power on and gas production tests before leaving the factory.

By modernizing and refining the process management of the final assembly process, Tianhe Yuanhydrogen focuses on ensuring stable equipment quality, performance, and delivery capacity, and is fully prepared for the future global hydrogen industry.

Persist in innovative material research and development, accelerate product iteration

During the exhibition, Dr. Bian Tiezheng, Vice President of Tianhe Hydrogen, gave a speech in which he mentioned that Tianhe Hydrogen improves the product stability of alkaline electrolysis tanks and ensures technological leadership by innovating research and development of core materials and improving the design of tank structures.

At present, the efficiency of alkaline electrolysis cells is relatively low, with current density generally ranging from 3000-4000A/㎡. The unstable operation under 30% low load and slow response speed to frequent start stop have become industry pain points, requiring targeted upgrades and iterations. Tianhe Yuan Hydrogen has improved the small chamber structure of the electrolytic cell, finely designed the internal flow field, adopted innovative membranes, and independently developed catalysts with high activity and specific surface area, greatly improving the reliability and stability of the product. The electrolytic cell can still operate continuously for more than 8 hours under 30% load conditions under high current density, and the power consumption is stable at 4.2-4.3 kWh/Nm ³ under full load conditions.

Collaborative development of "light hydrogen storage" to build a new energy ecosystem

At the exhibition, Ba Haitao, the person in charge of the Tianhe Hydrogen Solution Center, introduced the ideas and progress of the integrated solution for "light hydrogen storage" of Tianhe Hydrogen to the guests present. He said that with the continuous deepening of green hydrogen application, in addition to the reliability and safety of the product itself, system control methods and overall solutions have also become essential capabilities for equipment manufacturers.

Tianjianshi has laid out three major business routes: photovoltaic, energy storage, and hydrogen. It is based on the long-term strategic planning for the practical application of future green power consumption scenarios, and will also deepen research and development on this development path, launching more intelligent, digital, and integrated solutions. In the future, optical hydrogen storage systems based on safe and reliable equipment will become one of the main paths for low-carbon transformation in the industrial field and supporting green electricity consumption.

Focusing on global market layout and localized services

In the future, Tianhe Yuan Hydrogen will focus on the global hydrogen market, actively establish international cooperation bridges, and establish strategic cooperation with multiple large domestic and foreign enterprises. We will engage in close cooperation in multiple fields such as electrolysis equipment application and process package development, optical hydrogen storage system engineering design, and green hydrogen integration project development, and actively layout localized service centers around the world.
