Recently, Tianhe Group, Arbro Group of Spain, and the Verva City Government jointly held a press conference in Verva, Spain, officially announcing the strategic cooperation of the 160MW green hydrogen project.

Sui Linhui, President of Tianhe Group International Project Development Company, introduced that Tianhe Group will collaborate with Arbro Group to invest in the development of a 160MW green hydrogen project in Verva. The project covers an area of more than 500 acres and is expected to start construction by the end of 2025. The produced green hydrogen is supplied to the local chemical industry and ultimately exported to Europe in the form of green alcohol and green ammonia through the port of Verva.
Sui Linhui said, "Trina Solar attaches great importance to the development of the hydrogen energy industry in Europe. Green hydrogen is undoubtedly one of the best paths for the development and utilization of clean energy. Trina Solar will provide comprehensive equipment and photovoltaic hydrogen storage solutions for the project, helping the Welva Green Hydrogen project become a benchmark for European energy transformation."

After the press conference, Duan Shunwei, President of Tianhe Yuanhydrogen, and Pilar Miranda, Mayor of Verva, had preliminary communication and reached a strategic cooperation intention on the settlement of Tianhe Yuanhydrogen production capacity in Verva in the future. Both sides will start conducting comprehensive research and analysis on the EU's hydrogen policy, potential market size, land and human resources, and the adaptation of technology and raw materials as soon as possible, striving to add Chinese elements to the development of hydrogen energy in Europe.
Pilar Miranda stated that the Welva City Government will actively promote industry university research cooperation between Trina Solar and Welva University, and the three parties can engage in in-depth cooperation in future hydrogen technology research and development, experimentation and testing, equipment application and promotion.
In addition, the Port Authority of Vilva is also very much looking forward to reaching a strategic cooperation with Trina Solar, and through Trina Solar's influence in the global new energy field, promoting Vilva Port as one of the windows for hydrogen energy to enter Europe.
