On the afternoon of July 28, 2024, Premier Li Qiang of the State Council and Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni jointly attended and addressed the opening ceremony of the seventh meeting of the China-Italy Entrepreneurs Committee in Beijing. Over 150 entrepreneurs from China and Italy were present at the event. The following day, Trina Green Hydrogen, the sole representative of the hydrogen energy sector, participated in the Finance and Energy Panel Forum of the China-Italy Entrepreneurs Committee.

This forum convened numerous renowned enterprises, including the Bank of China, Cassa Depositi e Prestiti, Terna, Snam, Invitalia, State Grid International Development, and China Energy Engineering Group International. Jason Duan remarked, "Italy places significant emphasis on the development of hydrogen energy. The 'National Hydrogen Strategy Preliminary Guidelines,' released at the end of 2020, aims to achieve an electrolysis capacity of 5 GW for 'green hydrogen' by 2030. This initiative strives to replace 2% of the national natural gas demand with 'green hydrogen' and reduce carbon dioxide emissions by 8 million tons. Italian companies such as Enel, Italgas, and Snam have already conducted preliminary trials or pilot projects in hydrogen blending in pipelines and hydrogen steelmaking. Trina Green Hydrogen not only has a long-term strategic plan for the development and layout of the hydrogen energy industry but also collaborates with domestic and international partners on technological innovation and project development to jointly promote the high-quality development of the green hydrogen industry, thereby contributing significantly to the achievement of global carbon neutrality goals."
