On March 27th, Trina Green Hydrogen signed a strategic cooperation agreement with CKN HONGKONG INTERNATIONAL (hereinafter referred to as "CKN"), opening a new chapter in its business layout in Latin America. Trina Green Hydrogen adheres to an open and cooperative attitude towards the Latin American region, actively explores the green hydrogen market, deeply binds with local energy enterprises, and lays a solid foundation for cooperation.
Latin America has abundant renewable energy resources, providing a solid foundation for the development of the green hydrogen industry. At present, hydrogen energy projects in the region are continuously expanding and are expected to be officially implemented by 2025. The Uruguayan government plans to invest 4 billion US dollars to develop the green hydrogen industry, build supporting wind power, photovoltaics, transmission lines, and ethanol production facilities, and has released the "Green Hydrogen Development Strategy Roadmap". The plan is to attract 18 billion US dollars in investment by 2040, produce 1 million tons of green hydrogen annually, and achieve export revenue of 2.1 billion US dollars.
In addition, countries such as Brazil, Chile, and Colombia are actively expanding their green hydrogen industries. The Chilean government has announced six green hydrogen project development plans, which are expected to be officially put into operation around 2025, with an annual output of over 45000 tons. Latin America, with its abundant renewable energy resources, government policy support, and international cooperation, has gradually become an important participant in the global green hydrogen industry. CKN plans to expand its business territory in the region, especially in important new energy development areas such as Mexico and Colombia, making it a key link between China and Latin America.
As a solution provider in Latin America, CKN has been committed to vigorously developing the green energy industry and deeply cultivating the solar energy field for many years, with rich project experience. Trina Green Hydrogen has signed a strategic contract with CKN, which will effectively integrate local resources, strengthen cooperation and development of new energy projects in Latin America, provide solutions and key equipment for large-scale green hydrogen projects, build a hydrogen energy marketing ecosystem, jointly develop hydrogen energy projects, promote the integration of "wind solar hydrogen storage", promote the globalization of China's hydrogen energy business, accelerate the construction of Trina Green Hydrogen's local capacity center, from installation and commissioning to after-sales operation and maintenance, as well as cooperation in hydrogen energy technology, so that China's hydrogen energy technology can be more widely applied in the Latin American market.
By collaborating with CKN, Trina Green Hydrogen can better adapt to the needs of the Latin American market, leverage CKN's local resources and market channels, expand its market share in the region, and achieve localized application of technology and products. As a bridge for communication and cooperation between Chinese energy companies and local enterprises, with CKN expanding its business footprint in Latin America, Trina Green Hydrogen has also expanded its business territory. I believe that under the deep cooperation between the two sides, it will promote the expansion of the hydrogen energy market in Latin America and even globally, and contribute to global energy conservation and emission reduction.
